Automation QA Engineer

Project: A platform for pre-employment background screening.

Technological stack of the project: Java 8, spring, hibernate, SQL, Apache Camel, MS Azure, Jenkins, Git, Maven.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and evolve formal QA processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Coordinate testing efforts for all QA team members.
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of Setup team processes.
  • Build and implement quality gates for each of the project phases.
  • Review functional requirements, technical design documents and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to identify test coverage and ensure the project delivered with the highest quality.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution.
  • Follow defined engineering and operating processes during the Setup lifecycle.
  • Work proactively with the team to resolve issues and meet project goals.
  • Provide reports on conducted tests and product quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience establishing and enhancing QA processes and procedures.
  • Experience in leading QA team, managing test dependencies, coordinating test coverage and execution.
  • High-level analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail while being able to multitask.
  • Prior to working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Highly organised and extremely responsive.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, client-oriented approach.
  • English level: Intermediate and higher.
